11/25/03 About halfway done with updating the site layout. Again, a HUGE thanks to Jedi for the banner and his help with it – and rain for the new FX layout and converting 450 (!) screenshots into thumbnails. You guys are cool… :D A quick update from Cardmaster – POPGUN, inspired by Ink’s Harley Quinn mesh and an update to his Sage_Alteration FX. Gobble gobble, y’all!
11/21/03 The site revamp is in full swing. With help from rain, Jedi, House Quake, figurefan and many more at FR, I’m trying to tighten up the layouts. It would’ve been too difficult for me to redo the whole site and have a grand reopening – I would’ve lost my marbles. So I’m doing it page by page – more of a slow transformation. Please bear with the site as it transforms. The immediate change you’ll notice is the new layout for downloads. This will make page loading a lot quicker – having clickable thumbnails and an across-the-board look. So check out the first new FX in the new format – with a welcome back and hididdlee-ho from the semi-retired Cardmaster! Go get ‘em, CM! :p
11/13/03 Run for your life! Spud’s released the skelly_mace FX! AAAAAA!!!! Site note: Updates may be less frequent for awhile. I’ve recently updated the Hexed Meshes page with frames – I’d like to redo this whole site, but it’s going to take a LOT of work.

of interest in his sites, I’ve asked to stop hosting and clear up some
server space in anticipation. Zetor
has graciously agreed. Look for a
new site with new content from Zetor sometime in November (I’ll promote

06/22/03 Hey kids, look – FX! First off, a quick note – Captain Spud has corrected the contact points for many of his FX with big help from Renegade (Thanks!). These updated files will set the damage effect at the start or middle of the FX, rather than after the FX animation has run it’s course. Here’s a list of the corrected zipfiles:

dips his hand into FXing with two Rally type FX, one for Canada and one for
England. And Robert has created a
havoc_area FX to go along with his hex/skin, all available at

06/09/03 I’m back from my weekend vacation (Hi Uncle Gary! :p) with an email box full of new FX! Adclaw has a pack of 8 FX as well as a sonic_slap. Spud whipped up an ult_mjolnir_throw and I polished it off for him. Jubileefan19 adds a Synch FX along with his standard Jubilee FX…;) And Kitt Basher chucks a water balloon at ya – gettin’ close to summertime, don’tchaknow….More in a few days.

05/16/03 Hey there! It’s been awhile since we had an FX update. I’ve been playing around with doing PHOTOSKINS and am now getting back into the swing of things FX-wise. NightDragon, that nubile gecko heading up Dragon Force has created an AWESOME tie-dye FX – definitely check that one out. He got the idea from me (heh…heh…) as I was doing some FX for Phishhead Bujin modified the SpudSpear_flaming to get an arrow_flaming FX – which was actually a request from me! Thanks, Bujin! :D (I tweaked it a little bit) DM, Cardmaster and newcomer Jubileefan19 round out this weekend update. See ya!
04/18/03 Shhhh…don’t tell EF. While waiting for the current Freedom Reborn message board to be set up, many of us hung out at Dragon Force (thanks again, NightDragon!). While there, I created a 10Pack of FX for H.A.M.S.T.E.R. I’ve created a small minipage for the current and future FX. Click on the H.A.M.S.T.E.R. logo above to get there.
On to
today’s update – Cardmaster did a REALLY cool FX (even if it was by
accident). Phasing –your
character fades out and turns invisible for a while! DM created a white atomic beam. Spud, inspired by Kitt Basher’s
satellite strike FX, made 8 different NIFs for a satellite beam of his
own. And adclaw has created a
flying FX for Bobby69’s Iceman mesh.

03/31/03 XORN! Buddy! Hey there!! :D Returning for a one-time engagement, Xorn provides a 2Pack for Fusion’s SuperSkrull mesh. Adclaw’s got a pack including hypno/terror eyes, psycho_butterfly and a psyblade update. Kitt Basher has a wild satellite strike pack and rounding out this update, Ewzzy offers a pack of Castlevania FX to go with his skin/hex.

03/11/03 Heyyyy, howya doin’? Been busy with mod work – the Teen Titans mod is coming along smashingly! A moment here to thank everyone involved, especially it’s Pimp, Zapow! It’s been incredibly fulfilling seeing it all come together. On to the update – DarkMagik, Spud, Phantom Altern and I put some funk (the good kind) in your gaming experience. HumanTon has made 3 Danger Room maps and plans to convert many more from in-game to the Danger Room. They’re also available at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/humantonsmaps/ . He’s agreed to let me host them as well – if this keeps up, I may have to make a devoted page just for the maps! Lord Ehmsidy and Agent1260 of Dragon Force have made me VERY happy by creating a custom mesh and skin, respectively. I love taking screenshots, but sometimes the freaky-deaky FX (looking at you, DM ;p) makes it hard to choose a skin to represent it. Therefore, they’ve created a character for me to test out all these FX! Thanks SO much again, guys! The mechanical stretch punches previewed on Freedom Reborn need some more tweaking, so they’ll be on the next update. Bye!

02/26/03 Andrea and I have been working these past few days on releasing a complete package for the Marvel character Deathurge. He did the standard skin, I hexed the Taskmaster mesh and whipped up a few FX. This package will also be available, with many other of Andrea’s skins, at Kraven’s Marvel Hunters.
02/22/03 Quick non-FX update: Agent1260 of Dragon Force answered my pleas for new skins to use in screenshots for any number of offbeat FX. Seeing how Dragon Force is on hold for now, he’s agreed to let me host ‘em here! They will be located on the Miscellaneous skins page.

02/21/03 BEWARE OF FALLING ANVILS!! Bujin’s droppin’ them! DarkMagik comes up with some super-cool Elemental Spheres for all our enjoyment. I did a pretty neat AvatarFX for Agent, who turned around and gave me some new skins to use in screenshots! Hologram and The_Tester! Thanks Agent, I love ‘em!! There’s also an update to the chain2FX, using the tiling base that was used in the WreckingBall update. Not a huge difference from the original, but definitely better IMHO. Spud gives you the finger…well, four of them…and a thumb… with RocketFist4Pack. Then he’s got a ZeusBolt that I finally got around to assembling. Rounding out the update is another new face, Robert – who brings us Protoshield and hydropunch. Hugs and big, wet, sloppy kisses to everyone!! ;p
